
Learn to brew kombucha (simple method)
Gather your kit
Breathable Cotton Cloth + Rubber Band
Brew the tea
Boil 1.5L water.
Add 6–8 tsp black/green tea and 100–150g sugar. Let the tea steep
Cool to room temperature.
Add Culture
Add Scoby + 200ml starter. You can buy from us, or you can buy online. Cover with cloth. Keep at 24–27°C, away from direct sun.
Ferment
Fermentation usually takes 6–10 days. Taste from day 6; stop when lightly tart, not vinegary.
Safety notes
Bottle (optional fizz)
Strain into bottles. Add a little fruit/herb (e.g., ginger, lemon). Seal 2–4 days; burp daily.
Chill & enjoy
Refrigerate to slow fermentation. Label the date. (Re)Use clean sanitized bottles.
Safety notes
Work clean, keep everything food-safe, and always refrigerate finished kombucha. If it smells off or looks moldy, discard and restart.
